Sean Winkler
Sean is a passionate and innovative public affairs professional. During his career, he has developed and implemented political, grassroots, and messaging campaigns, overseen numerous successful fundraising drives, and has maintained a strong representation for his results-orientated work. Sean specializes in communications (traditional & digital), transportation policy, government representation and reporting, non-profit and political fundraising, and project management.
He has utilized his public affairs and fundraising knowledge on behalf of state and local clients primarily located in Maryland. He has guided political fundraising operations to achieve record breaking success in 2014 and in 2016, including over $1.1 million for a statewide race and $160,000 for a Baltimore City Council race. He also has won multiple grants from the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) to implement cutting-edge digital advocacy campaigns designed to educate the public on the benefits of federal transportation investments.
An Evanston, IL, native, Sean relied on urban transportation – particularly commuter rail – to get to high school and enjoy the Chicago-area. He now resides in Silver Spring with his wife Lindsey. Sean is a proud Maryland Terrapin, having graduated with a B.A. in Government & Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
